Welcome to Panhandle Community Services
A Letter from Executive Director Magi York

I am proud to welcome you to Panhandle Community Services' online home. This accessible and informative website captures the energy, diversity, and spirit that you have come to expect from us. Here you can learn about our current and upcoming programs, but also dig deeper into who we are and what we stand for.

Stewardship, Integrity, Respect, and Excellence.

These words represent the values of Panhandle Community Services as we work together with community partners, bridging the gap from poverty to self-sufficiency for low-income individuals and families of the Texas Panhandle. For over 50 years, Panhandle Community Services has increasingly expanded its impact in the region from its establishment as a group of concerned citizens interested in serving Potter and Randall Counties to covering the top 26 counties of the Panhandle with 14 service centers. Today, Panhandle Community Services stands strong as a cornerstone establishment in this region with a vision that one-day low-income people will have the power to live independent of government assistance.

As Executive Director of Panhandle Community Services, it is my honor to lead this amazing organization into the future. I follow in the footsteps of a number of visionary leaders and dedicated supporters who have helped shape Panhandle Community Services into what it is today: an agency working together with area partners to change our communities forever; a venue for low-income individuals and families to receive help and become developed into strong, self-sufficient contributors to society; and a continual and significant economic stimulant throughout the entire Panhandle region.

Thank you for visiting the Panhandle Community Services website. Please feel free to visit us often and remember to visit us in person, too.

Magi York, Executive Director
