Community Resource Fair

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — A lot of pandemic-era issues are winding down, but that does not mean it's over for everyone. People are looking for financial help, assistance finding a job and more.
Coming out of the pandemic, many people are in need of a new job, help with bills, health screenings and more. Which is why Goodwill teamed up with Panhandle Community Services to hold a Community Resources Expo.
While the event is over, Goodwill Career Center Career Resources Manager Sydney Rieff said they are always willing to help and they, along with all other organizations who participated, will help.
"We’ve provided a lot of flyers, a lot of information, we’ve let people sign up for services, we’ve provided applications for them and they have had a chance to ask those questions." Rieff added, "We provide lots of different services as well that helps people find jobs and grow their careers and so we are here to help. If anyone didn’t get to come by today or they have additional questions, they can call us and we can put you in contact with some folks that you need to talk to."
